Micromax, which claims to be world’s 10th largest mobile phone maker, today announced the launch of its new Canvas Mega series of smartphones ahead of Christmas. The two new smartphones under the Mega series- Canvas Mega E353 and Canvas Mega 4G Q417 – are priced at Rs 7,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively.
Both the phones offer 5.5 inch HD IPS display, Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system, 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 5 megapixel front fixed focus camera. The Canvas Mega E353 has a 1.4 GHz octa core processor (Mediatek MT6592M), 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory and a 2820 mAh battery. It though is a 3G phone but it offers other connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth and has 32 GB expandable memory as well as FM radio.
On the other hand, the Canvas Mega Q417 comes with 4G connectivity, 3 GB RAM, 1.3 GHz Mediatek quad core processor, 16 GB of built in memory and a 2500 mAh battery.
