It seems Micromax has added a new member to its Canvas series with Canvas Selfie 2. The smartphone has been found listed on company’s website, revealing some key specifications and design.
The smartphone major highlight would be the front-facing 8-megapixel selfie camera, which comes with Blue Glass IR Filter, Sony IMX135 sensor, aperture f/2.0, 5P lens and LED flash. The front camera comes with some interesting modes like real-time bokeh effect, wide angle, one touch shot and face beauty mode. The rear camera comes with 13-megapixel sensor along with aperture f/2.0, OV 8856 sensor, 84-degree field of view, 5P lens and LED flash. The camera modes include auto scene detection, panorama and Super Pixel 5200M.
The smartphone also comes bundled with company’s recently launched 100 days replacement warranty. Under this programme, users will get the same or equivalent model if there any defect. Further, if there is any delay, the replacement device will be organised within 48 to 72 hours. Interestingly, the website also mentions that the devices that have already crossed 100 days from the date of activation will be not be covered by the policy, instead, it will be going through the regular repair process. Lastly, at the time of replacement, warranty of the original device will get transferred to the replacement unit.

Coming to the device, the website reveals that it will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and will be juiced up by a 3000mAh battery.
