Two days after The Mobile Indian reported about the existence of Canvas Power A96, Micromax has launched the phone formally in India for Rs 9,900.
It comes with a 5 inch display with 480×854 pixel resolution. The handset has Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, a 1.3 GHz Mediatek quad core processor, and 512 MB RAM. There is 4 GB of Internal Memory in the phone of which 1.14 GB is available for users while 1.44 GB is there for applications.
The USP of the Canvas Power is its huge 4000 mAh battery which promises 450 hours of standby and 5.5 hours of talktime. It has 5 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front camera.
This 3G phone has also WiFi, Bluetooth, and Micro USB port for connectivity.
