Micromax Canvas 1 with Android Nougat launched at Rs 6,999

There is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage

Micromax has today announced a new smartphone under its Canvas series with the launch of Canvas 1 smartphone. Priced at Rs 6,999, the smartphone comes in Matte Black and Black colours options and will be available across offline stores from today. It also comes with a 100-day replacement promise on any hardware issue (which is a part of the 1-year product warranty).

Jumping to the specifications, the device comes with a 5-inch 2.5 display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, there is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 along with 2GB of and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via micro card.

On the camera front, you get an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. On the battery front, it is juiced up by a 2500mAH battery, which the company claims can offer up to 7 hours of and 180 hours of standby time. The device runs on the latest 7.0 Nougat and supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi, micro USB, VoLTE, dual SIM, micro USB 2.0, 3.5 mm ear jack and Bluetooth. The handset measures 143 x 71 x 8.3mm and weighs 150 grammes.
