Micromax is planning to add a new smartphone to its Bolt series with the launch of Bolt Q3001 smartphone. The device has been found listed on company’s official website, though there is no mention of the pricing and availability.
According to the listing, the smartphone bears a 4-inch TFT display with a colour depth of 16.7 million colours. The Bolt 3001 is powered by a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SC773 quad-core processor and it will be backed by a 4GB of RAM. The phone sports a 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, the device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. The phone runs on a dated Android Marshmallow and it comes bundled with different apps like Clean Master, Askme, Snapdeal, Quicker, Paytm, News Hunt, Housing, Dr. Safety, Hotstar, Chaatz and Reverie.
The phone is backed by a 1400mAh battery, which it claims to deliver up to 200 hours of standby time. On the connectivity front, the phone supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio and GPS. The Micromax Bolt Q3001 measures 125.5 x 64.5x 10.7 mm and weighs 111.5 grams.
Judging by the key specifications, it is certain that the smartphone could be priced at a budget price range. The specs look quite outdated and the battery backup is certainly not up to the mark. Further, coming to the 4GB of RAM, the device will be able to handle certain tasks, though the processor is not that powerful to perform some heavy duty tasks. That said, we will keep you posted on the pricing and availability of the smartphone.
Meanwhile, the brand launched its latest smartphone, the Canvas Infinity Pro which is a successor of Micromax Canvas Infinity smartphone launched in August this year. The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro smartphone is priced at Rs 13,999 and it will be available exclusively on Flipkart.
