Kobian, which makes tablets under its Mercury brand, has launched a slim and light 3G dual-SIM tablet called mTab StreaQ. The tablet comes with a 7 inch capacitive multi-touch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It runs on Android 4.0 OS.
The tablet is only 7mm thick and comes with a rubberised back panel which is claimed reduce the heating issues. The tablet is light weight with 280gm weight.
The dual-SIM feature based on MediaTek’s MTK6575 chipset, with 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 speed processor, 1 GB DDR3 and 8GB storage. The tablet is priced at Rs 11,499 and comes with 1 year warranty.
The Mercury mTab StreaQ has built-in 3G module, WiFi, Bluetooth and dual camera (front is a VGA and rear a 2 megapixel unit). Additionally it has HDMI output with full HD support, inbuilt GPS, G-sensor, and built-in FM.

The tablet looks like a feature rich and very well priced product. However, all will depend on how it performs in the real life usage. In terms of screen resolution tablet offers one of the best from a low cost brand. It is also one of the cheapest 3G tablet and addition of GPS and FM Radio makes a complete package.
