Meizu is working on the Meizu X2 which will be a successor of Meizu X launched in November last year in China. Now Meizu VP Li Nan has revealed the key information regarding the launch time, specifications and pricing of the Meizu X2.
Li Nan via Mydrivers, has confirmed that the arrival of the Meizu X2 has been delayed and the company has now planned to launch the smartphone by the end of this year. Alongside, he has also revealed that the Meizu X2 will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor. For the pricing, he revealed that it will be launching for 2,999 Yuan which is approx. Rs 30,636. However, he has not revealed any other information on the phone.
Apart from Meizu X2, the company is also working on other smartphones like Meizu E3, Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Lite and Meizu Plus who are all said to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio display. So it is expected that Meizu X2 will also be sporting a full-screen design. Also, it may come with side-mounted fingerprint reader and Super mBack button.
Meanwhile, Meizu E3 is all set to be launched on March 3. Li Nan has also said that Meizu E series will be powerful like the Smartisan Nuts Pro smartphones.
As per earlier TENAA listing, Meizu E3 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor, though there is no mention of the Chipset name. The phone will be backed by a 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and it will be available in 32GB/64GB/128GB of storage options. The memory can be further expanded up to 128 GB via micro SD card slot.

On the camera front, the Meizu E3 features dual rear cameras with a combination of a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel shooter. For the front, there will be an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed by a 3300mAh battery with Fast charging support and it runs on Flyme OS 6.2 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. On the connectivity front, the Meizu E3 supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Micro USB port.
