Meizu PRO 6 Plus 4GB RAM and 5.7-inch QHD display launched in China

The Meizu PRO 6 Plus comes in three colour options - Gray, Silver and Champagne Gold.

Meizu has announced the launch of its latest flagship Meizu PRO 6 Plus smartphone in China today. The smartphone comes in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The 64GB is priced at 2,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 29,850) and 3299 Yuan (approximately Rs 32,833). The smartphone will be available for pre-order from today and its sale will start from 23 December in China. The Meizu PRO 6 Plus comes in three colour options – Gray, Silver and Champagne Gold.

Meizu PRO 6 Plus has a metal unibody design and features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super with 3D Press. It is armed with Octa-Core Exynos 8890 SoC processor, which is paired with Mali-T880 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB internal storage. As of now, it is not confirmed whether it has a card slot or not. The 64GB variant comes with 2GHz Exynos 8890 processor and the 128GB variant comes with 2.3GHz Exynos 8890 processor.

The Meizu PRO 6 Plus runs on 6.0 Marshmallow on top of which lies Meizu’s Flyme OS. It gets its strength from 3400mAh non-removable battery which can charge from 0 to 60 percent in 30 minutes, as per the company. The Meizu PRO 6 Plus also features mTouch fingerprint technology, which will unlock the device in less than 0.15 seconds.

On the camera front, the Meizu PRO 6 Plus sports a 12-megapixel snapper with Sony IMX386 sensor, Dual tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, video recording capability and PDAF on the back panel. On the front panel, it has a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual-SIM, LTE with VoLTE, 4.1, Wi-Fi (802.11ac), GPS/AGPS, USB 3.1 and NFC. The Meizu PRO 6 Plus measures 155.6 × 77.3 x 7.3mm and weighs 158 grams.
