Meizu Note 9 India launch soon, receives BIS certification

Meizu Note 9 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU.

Meizu Note 9 is likely to be launched soon in India as the phone has been certified by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India. The appearance on the BIS indicates that smartphones could be debuting in India shortly.

The listing first spotted by True-Tech revealed model number (M923H) for the Meizu Note 9. It has been reported that the Meizu POP 2 true wireless earbuds have also been certified. So along with the smartphone, we might also see the launch of earbuds.

The Meizu Note 9 was originally scheduled to launch during Diwali but for some reasons, the phone was not launched in India at that time. Now that it has been certified, it is likely that the company will soon announce it in the Indian market.

Meizu Note 9 was launched in China in March this year. Talking about specifications of the phone, Meizu Note 9 features 6.2-inch (1080 × 2244 pixels) Full HD+ display with 89.23% screen to body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Meizu Note 9 runs 9 Pie with Flyme 7.2 OS out of the box. For the battery, it has 4000mAh battery with mCharge fast charging.

It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 with Adreno 612 GPU. It is coupled with 4GB/6GB and 64GB/128GB internal storage. It has Hyper Gaming optimization and Game Mode 3.0. The phone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds.

For the photography, the Meizu Note 9 comes equipped with dual rear camera setup of 48-megapixel primary sensor with dual flash, Samsung GM1 sensor, f/1.7 and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. For the front, it has a 20-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.

It features connectivity options like Dual VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), 5 LE, + GLONASS, Type-C. It has dimensions: 153.1x 74.4 x 8.65 mm and weight is 169.7 grams.
