Meizu is all set to launch MEizu M6 smartphone at an event in China on September 20. The event will be held at the Beijing Performing Arts Center and will begin at 1500hrs local time. Meizu M6 will be the successor of Meizu M5 which was launched in India this year for Rs 10,499.
As per leaks, Meizu M6 will be featuring a metal unibody design and a 5.2-inch HD display with 720 x 1080 pixel resolution. It will be powered by MediaTek MT6750 64 bit octa-core processor and Mali-T860 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The Meizu M6 will probably ship with Android Nougat out of the box, and Flyme 6 will be placed on top of it.
To recall, the Meizu M5 has a polycarbonate body and features a 5.2-inch HD (720 x 1270 pixels) 2.5D Glass display with a Pixel density of 282 PPI. It comes equipped with an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, along with Mali T860 GPU. The smartphone also houses a mTouch fingerprint scanner, which is embedded in its home button. For the uninitiated, the mTouch allows you to unlock the smartphone with your fingerprint in just 0.2 seconds. The M5 comes with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage and an option to expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android Marshmallow with Flyme 5 on top of it.
The M5 gets is strength from a large 3070mAh battery, which claims to deliver 66 hours of continuous music playback. The smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-colour flash and Aperture f/2.2. On its front, it has a 5-megapixel shooter with a ƒ/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats. Besides, the M5 offers dual-SIM with dual-standby, 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, and a micro USB port The handset measures 147.28 x 72.8 x 8.15 mm and weighs 138 grams. For sensors, it has Gravity, Ambient Light and Infrared Proximity sensor.
