Meizu is working on its upcoming flagship Meizu 16s smartphone. Now Meizu has today confirmed that it will launch 16s smartphone at an event in Zhuhai, China on April 23. It says 1 % selected out of 100% Efforts.
The launch date is inline with earlier rumours of phone getting launched on April 23. It is to be noted that it is the same day when Lenovo will be also launching its Snapdragon 855 powered Lenovo Z6 Pro flagship phone. As per rumours, the phone will be priced at 3398 Yuan which is approx. Rs 35,295.
Meizu 16s will feature a 6.2 inches full HD+ display with 1080 x 2232 pixels resolution. It will have 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone will be powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It will come in in three colour variants – Black, White and Gradient Blue colours.
The smartphone will come with a dual rear camera setup which will include 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor and 20-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, it will come with a 20-megapixel camera.Meizu 16s will be backed up by 3,540mAh battery with 24W Fast charging and it will run Android 9.0 (Pie) with Flyme OS.
Connectivity features will include Dual-Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type C. The phone will measure 151.9 x 73.4 x 7.65mm and it weighs 166 grams.
