Meet Lumigon T3: World first smartphone with night vision camera

The Lumigon T3 has a marine-grade 316 stainless steel body and also comes with dust and water resistant capabilities.

A Danish company, Lumigon has launched world’s first smartphone with a ‘Night Vision’ camera. It is named as Lumigon T3 and its basic edition is priced at $925 (approximately Rs 61,772), whereas the Black Gold edition costs $1200 (approximately Rs 80,137). There are three more editions – Black, White Diamond and White Gold, which will be unveiled in coming days.

The highlight of this smartphone is its camera capabilities. The smartphone offers a 4-megapixel night vision camera with dual flash lights on the back, which let you capture images in complete darkness. To capture images in the normal condition, it also has a separate 13-megapixel snapper with phase detection with dual tone flash on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front with Single Flash light. The rear camera can record videos in resolution.

As far as technical specifications are concerned, the Lumigon T3 features a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720p) Super with pixel density of 308 ppi. It is armed with 2.2GHz octa-core processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

The Lumigon T3 also houses a fingerprint scanner and comes with wireless charging as well. Further, the smartphone offers BackTouch display, that enable users to scroll websites or tap to take selfies and offers all basic connectivity functions.
