LG is reportedly set to launch the successor of last year’s LG V10, which might be dubbed as LG V20. The LG V20 is expected to be showcased during IFA 2016, which is scheduled to be held in Berlin from September 2-7.
The upcoming V20 is said to compete with the likes of iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy Note7 flagship smartphones. So we would expect this smartphone to have high end features.
As of now no information related to its specification is available. However we will keep you posted as soon as we get any update on the upcoming LG V20.
To recall, LG V10 was launched in October last year. The highlight of the LG V10 is its two touchscreens as well as two front cameras.
The LG V10 has a 5.7 inch primary display that has Quad HD resolution. Just above it lies a secondary 2.1-inch screen which you can choose to keep “always on” to show weather, time date and battery status and it won’t impact the battery life. The other highlight of LG V10 is its dual selfie cameras. It has two 5-megapixel front-facing cameras with separate lenses that allows capturing standard 80 degree selfies or wide-angle selfies of 120 degrees. In its rear panel lies a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash, OIS 2.0, Laser auto focus and F1.8 aperture.
The LG V10 features a body with 316L stainless steel frame and its display is covered by dual-layer Gorilla Glass 4. The removable back cover of the device is made of silicon-like material dubbed Dura Skin. Like all LG high end phones these days, the V10 also has its home button in its rear panel. The home key also doubles up as the fingerprint sensor which will let you wake and unlock the device with a single tap.
It is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and Adreno 418 GPU. LG V10 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating sytem and has LG UX interface. It comes with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 2TB using microsd card. It packs a 3000 mAh removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 that can charge the phone up to 50% in just 40 minutes. On the connectivity front, the LG V10 offers 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, micro USB port, Bluetooth and NFC.
