LG has quietly pushed out a new update for its Optimus L series smartphone – Optimus L9. Then XDA Developer Forum carried a thread, listing eleven countries that have started receiving the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the LG Optimus L9. Mostly after the European Region, the update gets pushed out for the Asia region.
By default, the Optimus L-series styling clad L9 smartphone comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the fancy features of the Optimus 3.0 User Interface. Now the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is being pushed out to the Optimus L9 since it is top of the line offering from the company in its 2012 line up.
