LG has announced a new smartphone – Optimus True HD LTE with True HD IPS panel display. Supporting the Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, the Optimus True HD LTE is LG’s flagship LTE device. LG plans to launch the smartphone across the European and Asian countries.
The LG Optimus True HD LTE arrives with 4.5-inch touchscreen True HD IPS (In Plane Switching panel) display. By default this touchscreen supports 1280×720 pixel resolution.
Under the hood, the Optimus True HD LTE will house a dual-core mobile processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. At the rear, it will feature an 8 megapixel camera that should be capable enough to take 1080p HD videos. By default, this Optimus family device will have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
For the high-end and flagship devices, the 720p HD native resolution has become a basic factor and common occurrence. LG has not specified any more details and pricing of this handset. We can expect this device to be priced and made available in couple of markets in coming weeks.
