Google has released the new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the LG Nexus 4 smartphone. The new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean build JDQ39 measures 51 MB and Google has started pushing the update over the air to the Nexus 4 devices.
This new update brings several user interface improvements as well as tweaks along with new features such as toggle switches in the notification tray. The new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update also reportedly fixes the Bluetooth Audio Streaming issues with the Nexus 4. Though the Nexus 4 does not support LTE networks, developers managed to find a loop hole that could enable 4G LTE networks in the device. This loophole reportedly has been fixed with the new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update.
While we recommend waiting for the OTA notification to show up, there is also a lengthy and tricky work around method to flash the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update manually.
