LG may launch LG G5 early next year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. It may feature a 5.3-inch display with 1440 x 2560 QHD Resolution and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It is also expected to flaunt dual 16 Megapixel rear cameras with 135-degree Wide-Angle capability.
The LG G5 will feature a secondary display, in which screen is “always on” and shows details such as time, weather, date and battery icon when the main display is off, it is quite similar to what was available in yesteryear’s Nokia Lumia smartphones. The LG G5 is said to sport a metal body for a premium look and a fingerprint sensor on the back and retina scanner for added security according to a report of Venturebeat.
The report further mentions that LG G5 may also have a feature called “Magic Slot.” This would essentially would be a slot to add external hardware to the device like a gaming console, VR camera or even a keyboard. The device will be powered by a 2800 mAh removable battery.
