LG G5 SE spotted with Android 7.0 Nougat

The device was originally launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

LG had launched LG G5 SE last year with 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Now the LG G5 SE seems to be getting Nougat operating system update soon as the device with model number LG-H840 has been spotted on a GeekBench website. This means that LG is perhaps testing the latest software and may release the same for the device soon.

The specs revealed by the Geekbench listing are same which were revealed at the launch time except now it shows Android 7.0 Nougat in the Operating System. The device was originally launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

In the GeekBench listing, the LG G5 SE got 1194 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 3525 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the LG G5 SE has 3GB and Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.40 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

As far as specifications are concerned, the LG G5 SE features a 5.3-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with 554 ppi and is powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 652 64-bit processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and comes fitted with a 2,800 removable battery. The LG G5 SE smartphone also has ‘Always On’ functionality like LG G5.

Further, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel rear snapper with flash, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a fingerprint scanner, port and all basic connectivity options. The handset measures 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.3 mm and weighs 156 grams.
