Lenovo is all set to launch its latest smartphone in the Note series in India. The company has revealed that it will be launching the new smartphone in the country on September 5.

Lenovo has revealed the #KillerNote hashtag for its upcoming smartphone launch, which confirms that the phone will be launched in the Note series. It’s being quite a while seen Lenovo has launched a smartphone in India. The company launched Lenovo K9 Note in India in the month of May and since then, the brand has been silent.

Considering the hashtag and the previous launch, one could expect Lenovo to launch Lenovo K10 Note, which will be a successor to the K9 Note. One could also expect the company to launch the upcoming smartphone as a rebranded version of Lenovo Z6. To recall, the Lenovo K9 Note comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 and is available for purchase through offline channels.

Recollecting some key specifications of the Lenovo K9 Note, the phone features a 5.9-inch Full display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 along with 4GB of and 64GB of internal storage.

For optics, it is backed by a dual-camera setup at the back panel, which comes with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Lenovo K9 Note houses a fingerprint sensor embedded on its rear panel and runs on 8.0 Oreo operating system. The phone gets its juices from a 3760 mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual Sim, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm jack and a port. Other sensors include G-sensor, light sensor, and e-compass. The phone measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 8.5 mm and weighs 176 grams.
