Lenovo is expected to launch its Z2 Plus in India on September 20. The company has been releasing teasers on its official Twitter handle with the hashtag FastForward. Today, Lenovo has posted some videos in which it says the smartphone will be stronger than metal.
Alongwith the video Lenovo tweeted, “The Lenovo Z2 Plus is made of something much stronger & lighter than Metal. Find out now! #FastForward”.
Second video shows that the smartphone will feature U-Touch for navigation around the UI. Alongwith this video Lenovo tweeted “The Lenovo Z2 PLUS will make your life even more convenient! Watch to find out how. #FastForward”.
Another video shows the Lenovo Z2 PLUS to be the perfect health partner. Alongwith this video Lenovo tweeted “The Lenovo Z2 Plus gives you the power to #FastForward to better health! Find out how”.
Lenovo had launched Lenovo Zuk Z2 in China in May this year for 1,799 Yuan which is approximately Rs 18,370 and is now being re-branded as the Lenovo Z2 Plus for the Indian market.
The Lenovo Zuk Z2 has a 5-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by the 2.15 quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 GPU. The phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. However, it lacks expandable storage slot. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 3,500 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the home button which as per the company can unlock the phone in under 0.1 seconds.
The Lenovo Zuk Z2 flaunts a 13-megapixel shooter on the back with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type C. The handset measures 141.65 x 68.88 x 8.45 mm and weighs 149 grams.
