Lenovo K8 Plus spotted with with 3GB RAM, MediaTek Helio X20 SoC and Android Nougat 7.1.1

Meanwhile, Lenovo has today announced that all forthcoming smartphone will feature stock Android operating system.

Lenovo is all set to launch Lenovo K8 Note in India on August 9 which will be an Amazon exclusive device. Now ahead of the launch, another Lenovo smartphone named as Lenovo K8 Plus has been spotted on the Geekbench website, as per a report. The listing has spilt some beans on the expected specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

In the GeekBench listing, the Lenovo K8 Plus got 861 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 3761 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Lenovo K8 Plus has 3GB and MediaTek Helio X20 1.69 GHz deca-core with Mali T888 GPU. The handset is based on the 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

Meanwhile, Lenovo has today announced that all forthcoming smartphone will feature operating system. The company says that Lenovo K8 Note will be the first device to ship with stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The company says that the stock Android experience will give users a cleaner interface, a smoother experience and no excess bloat ware. To recall, Lenovo smartphones had Pure VibeUI, which provided some stock Android experience, but it came with nifty tweaks and customization. With this, the company says that it will be able to will be now able to provide better support with efficient updates.

Lenovo K8 Note was also earlier spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website which revealed some expected specifications of the upcoming smartphone. In the GeekBench listing, the Lenovo K8 Note got 1659 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 4844 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Lenovo K8 Note has 4GB RAM and MediaTek Helio X20 1.39 GHz deca-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
