LeEco has rolled out the Android Marshmallow update for the Le 1s and Le 1s Eco smartphones in India. The company has announced the Eco 5.8.017S update via its official forum and also through its official Twitter handle.
If users want to upgrade to the Eco 5.8.017S, they can download the zip file (1.3GB) available at the LeEco forum and follow instructions from Offline Update Step-by-Step Tutorial.

LeEco Le 1s comes with metal unibody, mirror finished fingerprint sensor, 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display, Mediatek Helio X10 Turbo 2.2GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone comes with a reversible USB Type-C with fast-charging SpeedVolt technology and has a 3000 mAh battery. The smartphone offers a 13-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. On the other hand, LeEco Le 1s Eco offers a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.85 GHz octa-core Hello X10 MediaTek processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB storage. The smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front panel. The Le 1s Eco also offers a fingerprint sensor and a USB Type C port. The smartphone comes fitted with a 3000 mAh lithium polymer battery. Besides, the Le 1s Eco offer 4G, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), WiFi Hotspot, WiFi Direct, Dolby DTS sound technology, Magnetometer, Gravity Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, and Infrared Sensor. The handset measures 74.2×151.1×7.6 mm and weighs 170 grams.
Currently, the Le 1s Eco is available for Rs 9,999 but the Le 1s has been discontinued. Few e-retailers like eBay though still selling refurbished Le 1s models.
