Lava Z62 launched with 6-inch FullView display and Android 9 Pie

As an introductory offer, the company is introducing a ‘Throw your TV away’ offer where customers can stand a chance to win a Lava Z62 smartphone for free in exchange for their old TV.

Lava has announced the launch of its new smartphone under Z series- Lava Z62. The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,060 and it comes in Midnight Blue and Space Blue colour options. The phone is yet to go on sale in the country. It is a successor to the Z61 Go edition which was launched last year.

 

As an introductory offer, the company is introducing a ‘Throw your TV away’ offer where customers can stand a chance to win a Lava Z62 smartphone for free in exchange for their old TV. Registrations for the phone will start on June 18 at 10am.


The Lava Z62 has a 6-inch FullView IPS 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) 16nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE83200 GPU which is clubbed with 2GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system. The Lava Z91 also comes with facial recognition technology to unlock the device by scanning the face of the user.

 

The Lava Z62 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable by up to 256GB via micro SD card. On the camera front, it has a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and an 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.  The smartphone is powered by a 3380 mAh battery. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0.

Lava is really looking to compete... I like the presence of smart MediaTek processor and camera of the smartphone at the price.. Could be a hit in the Indian market...

A good entry level phone by Lava, its one after a pretty long time. This one comes with mediatek processor!
