Lava has announced the launch of its V5 camera smartphone. The Lava V5 is priced at Rs 11,499.
The Lava V5 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with Samsung 3M2 sensor and Phase Detection Auto Focus (can focus in 0.18 seconds), 5 layer Largan lens, Blue glass filter, F2.0 Aperture and dual LED flash light. For selfies it offers an 8 megapixel front camera. The rear camera can capture full HD videos. Besides, it has GIF, Night mode, and Panorama mode features. The front camera can capture wide selfies, Lava said in a press note.
The Lava V5 is armed with a 5.5 inch HD IPS display that has scratch resistant Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit, 1.3 GHz Mediatek quad core processor and 3 GB DDR3 RAM. The V5 offers 16 GB of internal storage and a 32 GB micor SD card slot.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system based Lava V5 has a customised user interface called Star OS 2.0. Lava also promised to upgrade it to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in future. This dual SIM smartphone offer 4G connectivity (only one SIM at a time able to connect to 4G). Besides, it offers WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS with GLONASS and a 3000 mAh Li-Po battery.
The Lava V5, which comes only in white colour, will be available from offline stores and for online market, the company has joined hands with eBay.
