Lava has announced its latest Iris series smartphone, which is named as Iris X1. This phone will be priced below Rs 8,000. Thus it is not only the first smartphone from Lava to come with Android KitKat operating system preloaded but also the first handset in this price segment to have the latest Android OS.
The Lava Iris X1 will come with a 4.5 inch IPS display. As per Lava, it is designed like the Iris Pro series launched by the company recently.
Furthermore, the Iris X1 boasts an 8 Megapixel rear camera. The teaser image also hints at a front camera as well but Lava has not revealed anything about it, neither it has said anything about its other features.
