Lava, which last week launched two handsets – Iris X8 and Iris X1 Grand, today announced the launch of another budget smartphone – Iris 465.
The Lava Iris 465 supports 21 Indian languages – Hindi, Bodo, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Bengali, Assamese, Maithili, Maniouri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Santali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, Kannada. Besides, this 3G smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and has Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby support. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM expandable up to 32GB storage expansion via microSD card.
The Lava Iris 465 smartphone comes with a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with flash support and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera features face recognition, smile detection, self-timer & panorama mode. The Lava Iris 465 also offers FM player, music and a video player. It packs a 1750 mAh Li-Ion battery which can offer up to 22 hours and 58 minutes (2G) of talk time, and 10 hours and 41 minutes (3G) of talk time. The smartphone measures 134.4x68x10 mm and weighs 146 grams.
Lava Iris 465 is available in white and black colours for Rs 4,499. It will be available for sale across all national retail stores, multi-brand outlets from today and on all leading e-commerce portals from next week.
