Lava has launched yet another cheap Android smartphone. Named as Iris 405+, the phone comes with a 4 inch screen with WVGA (480×800 pixels) resolution. It is priced at Rs 6,999.
The Lava Iris 405+ has a 1.3 GHz dual core processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, and 512 MB RAM. It has 4 GB of internal storage and 32 GB expandable storage slot. The phone comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. Lava Iris 405+ is armed with a 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery. It has WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth as well. It comes with Ambient Light sensor, proximity sensor, and G sensor.
Currently, there is no scarcity of such phones. Even there are a couple of phones in the same price bracket that come with quad core processor such as Spice Coolpad 2 which has 4.5 inch touchscreen, quad core processor, and even 1 GB RAM and is available for just Rs 5,999. Gionee’s Pioneer P3 was also launched in India recently for just above Rs 7,000. But mostly other handsets with quad core processor available for above Rs 7,000.
