Karbonn launches Titanium S200 with HD display at Rs 4,999

The Karbonn Titanium S200 will be exclusively available on e-commerce portal 'Snapdeal' in Coffee Champagne color.

Karbonn announced the launch of its latest smarphone, the Titanium S200, with HD display at Rs 4,999. Karbonn Titanium S200 will be exclusively available on e-commerce portal ‘Snapdeal’ in Coffee Champagne color.

Karbonn Titanium S200 features a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core and 1 GB RAM that runs the KitKat 4.4 operating system. Karbonn has also promised to upgrade it to the Android 5.0 Lollipop system later.

For storage, the phone offers 8 GB of internal storage which is further expandable to up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. It has a 2600 mAH Li-polymer battery which claims to offer talk time of up-to 9 hours and up-to 650 hours of standby time. Karbonn Titanium S200 sports an 8 megapixel auto focus rear camea which comes with two LED flash lights and for selfies it has a 3.2 megapixel front camera. The handset measures 14.4x 7.2 x 0.895 mm and weighs 142 grams. Karbonn Titanium S200 offers 2G/3G, dual SIM, WiFi, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.The handset also supports 21 Indian languages.

Commenting on the launch of Karbonn Titanium S200, Shashin Devsare, executive director of Karbonn Mobiles, said, “We are delighted to introduce yet another disruptive product in the Indian smartphone market. Titanium S200 HD comes with an HD IPS display offering life-like vibrant image quality for an enhanced smartphone experience. We have partnered exclusively with Snapdeal for Titanium SD200 HD to offer easy access and buying options to our consumers.”

The Karbonn Titanium S200 will compete with Phicomm Energy 653, which has a 5-Inch HD display and is priced at Rs 4,999, However Phicomm Energy 653 has an edge over this Karbonn handset as it has connectivity.
