Karbonn laucnhes Quattro L52, Titanium Mach 6 smartphones with VR headset

Karbonn today revealed its virtual reality headset. Along with that Karboon has also announced the launch of a VR enabled Quattro L52 and Titanium Mach 6 smartphones.Karbonn Quattro L52 is priced at Rs 8,490, whereas Titanium Mach 6 will cost Rs 7,490.

Few days back, Karbonn Quattro L52 VR was spotted on company’s official website, along with another smartphone, the Quattro L51 HD.

According to Karbonn, its glasses of its VR headset are made of sturdy ABS plastic fiber and offer an enhanced, real life viewing experience. “The glasses come fitted with bi-convex lenses which augment a video to provide a theatre-like experience making it a highly useful tool for archiving walk-throughs of popular historical monuments, museums etc. It also takes entertainment to a whole new level by enabling viewers to enjoy films, music videos and other entertainment clips,” Karbonn said in a press release.

The Karbonn Quattro L52 VR is offers a 5.0-inch HD (1280 x720 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, which is clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded by up-to 32GB via a micro card. The smartphone runs on Lollipop operating system and is backed up by a 2250 battery, which claims to offer up-to 6 hours of talk-time and up-to 300 hours of standby time.

The Quattro L52 VR has an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera that comes with Sony sensor and an LED flash. On its front lies a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, LTE (B3,B5,B40), VR glasses, WiFi, WiFi dual-band, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB port, G-Sensor, and Gyroscope. The handset measures 144 x 72 x 9.9 mm and weighs around 143 grams with battery. The Quattro L52 VR comes in champagne gold and white colours.

As far as Karbonn Titanium Mach 6 is concern, it is also a VR enabled handset and offers 6-inch HD IPS Full Lamination display. It has a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and a 32 micro SD card slot. The smartphones runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is backed up by a 3300 mAh battery.

The Karbonn Titanium Mach 6 has an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2-megapixel front camera. Further, the Titanium Mach 6 offers 3G, VR glasses, G-sensor, Light, and Gyroscope sensors.
