Yes, it is now confirmed. The Motorola Moto X Force is indeed coming to the Indian market.
The confirmation came from Motorola India which simply made the announcement by tweeting, “Moto X Force Coming Soon”
Motorola India had also shared a video that shows flagship phones like the iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Sony Xperia Z5 dropping on the floor and breaking their screens. Then the video shows Moto X Force dropping on floor without being damaged or breaking its screen.
In another tweet, the company said, “Are you one amongst 40% of people who are deathly scared of dropping their phones? Watch the #Motofaceoff, know more.”
Motorola Moto X Force was launched in few international markets October last year and is the same smartphone that launched in the US initially as Motorola Droid Turbo 2.
The Motorola Moto X Force has a 5.4 inch display that has Quad HD or 2560×1440 pixels resolution. This display, as per the company, is crack proof. As per Motorola, it has made this display using ShatterShield technology in which it makes the display with rigid aluminum core on top of which lies AMOLED flexible display to absorb shocks.
Like the display, the Moto X Force looks equally tough from inside with the 2 GHz octa core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 GB RAM and 2 TB expandable storage capacity. It comes in 32 GB and 64 GB storage options. The phone though comes with the Android Lollipop version and not the latest Android Marshmallow operating system.
Besides, the Motorola Moto X Force offers a 21 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto focus and dual LED flash light. For selfies, it has a 5 megapixel front camera. The smartphone offers 4G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi and a 3760 mAh battery. This 169 grams weighing smartphone is 7.6mm and comes in black colour and has a water repelling coating.
Motorola Moto X Force comes in black color with Ballistic Nylon finish. No details about the launch and pricing of the Moto X Force has been revealed by company. But it can be priced around Rs 50,000, considering the fact that it was launched in the UK for GBP 449 (approx Rs 49,900) and GBP 534 (approx Rs 53,350) for 16GB and 64GB model respectively.
