Itel Mobile has announced the launch of it1520 smartphone at Rs 8,490. The highlight of this smartphone is its cameras – it comes with 13-megapixel camera setup on its front as well back panel. There are two LED flash lights in its rear panel whereas one LED light is in its front. Also it has the Iris scanner and at Rs 8,490, it is the cheapest phone in India to have the latest sensor. Iris scanner is the latest biometric identification sensor that scans the irises of users’ eyes and is much more easy to use than the fingerprint sensor. Samsung’s Note 7 was the first phone in the world to boast an Iris scanner.
The Itel it1520 has a 5-inch IPS On-cell display that has resolution of 1280×720 pixels (high definition). With 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM, it promises decent performance while for storage, it has 16GB of internal storage and an expandable storage slot that can hold a micro SD card of up to 32GB capacity. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The It1520 comes packed with a 2,500 mAh battery, which claims to deliver up-to 13.07 hours of talk-time and up-to 307.69 hours of standby time on 3G network. Further, the smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE connectivity so you can use it to make calls on Reliance Jio’s network. Besides the smartphone offers Dual SIM (Dual standby), WiFi (802.11b/g/n), GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, a micro USB port, and OTG.
Being a 4G VoLTE phone, it comes with Reliance Jio connection option which allows users with unlimited access to 4G internet and voice calls till December 2016.
