Vivo sub-brand iQOO has launched the iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition smartphone in China with Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The new phone is an upgraded version of the iQOO Neo 855 which was launched in October this year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset.
The iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition is priced at 2,598 Yuan which is approx. Rs 26,333 for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at 2,798 Yuan which is approx. Rs 28,357. It comes in Iceland Aurora, Carbon Black and Light Mint colours.
Vivo iQOO 855 Racing Edition features a 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED Display with 2340×1080-pixels resolution, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 855+ SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 128GB UFS 3.0 high-speed flash memory. The smartphone lacks a microSD card slot
For the camera, the phone equips a triple camera setup with a combination of a 12-megapixel with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 Aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the phone features a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner and there is support for face unlock too.
The phone runs FunTouch OS 9 based on Android Pie. It is backed up by a 4,500mAh battery supporting 33W FlashCharge 2.0 which charges the phone up to 25% in just 10 minutes. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, A-GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
