Intex today launched a smartphone with 3GB RAM in sub-10K segment. The new smartphone, named as Intex Cloud Swift, will be exclusively available on Snapdeal. The registration for the phone begins today, October 16th, and it will be available ‘on-sale’ from 20th October. Note that though Intex has not revealed its price in the press release, we found the device listed on Snapdeal at Rs 8,888 but was tagged as ‘sold out’ at the time of writing this news.
The 4G-enabled Cloud Swift features a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by Mediatek (MT6735A) Chipset that has a 64 bit quad core processor. The display is protected by Dragontrail glass. The device is based on the Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system and it comes with a 2500 mAh Li-Po battery that claimes to offer talk time of up to 7-8 hours along with a standby time of 400-500 hours.
For the amateur clickers and selfie lovers, the handset offers an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. The camera comes with many features like the PIP Mode, which helps the user simultaneously use both front and rear cameras. Other features include Victory Gesture, flash, live photo mode, motion track mode, slow motion video, face detection, face beauty, voice and smile capture, Panorama, multi-angle view, anti-shake camera (rear camera).
“Features in Cloud Swift include Smart Wake that allows one to access camera, music, files or any other feature without unlocking the phone by drawing C,M & W on the screen. Also features HotKnot, with it one can share photos, movies, videos et al by simply taking Cloud Swift screen closer to the screen of the other mobile and sharing process is ON. Air Shuffle is another that allows users to operate the phone with simple hand gestures without touching the screen,” Intex revealed in a press release.
The device has in-built memory of 16GB as well as an expandable memory slot for up to a 128GB micro SD card. Additionally, Cloud Swift has a bunch of pre-loaded apps such as Chaatz, Gaana, Hotstar, Skype, Follo, OneDrive, Newshunt, Clean Master, InMobi Services, OLX, Opera Mini. Also has Matrabhasha service that will enable communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi.
This dual SIM smartphone offers 4G connectivity too.
The Intex Cloud Swift comes with a 1-year screen breakage warranty as well. It is available in two premium colors – Champagne and Grey.
