Intex brings 3D feature phone for Rs 3,690

The new Intex Avatar has 2 MP camera with flash, FM Radio, Bluetooth, EDGE, 16 GB expandable memory and Torch light.

Intex has launched a new 3D touch mobile phone, which offers users the choice of converting 2D images and video content into 3D with just one touch and also viewing the same in 3D.

Named Intex Avatar, the feature rich phone also comes with a pair of 3D glasses for free of cost. The phone allows consumers to store and watch unlimited videos at the rate of 30 frames per second. One can also enjoy 10 pre-loaded films available in 4 GB multimedia card which comes for free with the phone.

Intex Avatar, which is priced at Rs 3,690, is a dual SIM phone with a 2.8 inch screen, all packaged in a handy sleek design. The phone has an array of interesting features like in- built popular games like Crazy Birds, Fruit Ninjia, Pentachess, Call of Atlantis, Yumsters and social networking sites such as Google, Yahoo and Facebook.

It also comes with a 2 megapixel camera with flash, FM Radio, Audio Player, Audio Equalizer, Sound Recorder, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS, WAP, 66.7 MB internal memory which is expandable up to 16 GB, and Torch light.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar, general manager, mobile business, Intex Technologies (India) said, “India has evolved in adoption of 3D technology. Keeping consumer needs in mind we have introduced this novel feature. Intex is poised to provide unique offerings to all the technology enthusiasts with products such as ‘Intex Avatar’ that provide an enriched experience to long standing customers in India and abroad.”

The handset supports both English and Hindi languages. Consumers will also enjoy Intex Zone – an eclectic assortment of various functions like Answering Machine, Mobile Tracker, Auto Call Record, Google, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook and Games.

The phone is now available at retail stores.
