Intex Aqua Note 5.5 with 4G VoLTE, Android Nougat launched in India at Rs 5799

Intex Technologies has added a new member to its Aqua series with the launch of Aqua Note 5.5 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 5,799, the smartphone was found listed on company’s official website and it is available for purchase from Amazon.

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and has a 70.28 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 along with Mali-T720 GPU. It backed by a 2GB of and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro card slot.

On the camera front, the Intex Aqua Note 5.5 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with selfie flash. The phone runs on 7.0 Nougat and it is juiced up by a 2800mAh Li-ion battery, which the company claims to give a talk time of 6 hours on LTE network and approx. 500 hours of standby time. On the connectivity front, it supports WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm jack, and port. The device measures 153 x 77.5 x 10.3 mm and weighs 177 grams.

Previously, the company had launched Intex Aqua Style III for Rs 4,299 in India. The smartphone is available in Black and Champagne colour options and features a 5-inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor along with Mali 400 GPU. The phone is backed by a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via micro SD card slot. On the camera front, the device support 5-megapixel rear and front cameras. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is juiced up by a 2500mAh Li-ion battery.
