Infinix is all set to launch a toned-down version of recently launched Infinix S5 smartphone– Infinix S5 Lite. Sources familiar with the development told The Mobile Indian that the company is working on Infinix S5 Lite and it will be launched in the month of November.
The smartphone is reported to priced around Rs 7000 and it will have a Super Cinema display like the original S5 smartphone. The sources further revealed that the smartphone will come loaded with a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel as a primary sensor alongside the 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it will have an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Moreover, the upcoming smartphone will have 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage.
Further, we would expect that the rest of the specifications to be similar to the original Infinix S5. Like, the Infinix S5 Lite will retain the 6.6 inches Super Cinema HD+ display with the screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, punch hole design, will come powered by a 2 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek’s Helio P22 Cortex-A53 with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone will have an option to expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card, Rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock feature, will get its juices from a 4000mAh battery, will runs on Android 9 Pie based on XOS 5.0 Cheetah OS and will have all standard connectivity options like VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, a MicroUSB port, etc.
Just to refresh, the original Infinix S5 was launched in India earlier this month for Rs 8,999 and has 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, Quad rear camera setup (16-megapixels+5MP Wide lens+ Super Macro lens + Depth sensor) along with Quad-LED flash, 32-megapixel front camera, 6.6-inch HD+ display, Punch hole design, 2 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek’s Helio P22 SoC, Rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, 4000mAh battery and Android 9 Pie based on XOS 5.0 Cheetah OS.
