Indian designer makes sunglasses that can charge phones

An Indian designer based in the USA, Sayalee Kaluskar, has invented a new kind of sunglasses that can charge mobile phones. According to a report of CNET, Sayalee Kaluskar’s ‘Ray-Ban Shama Shades’ are part of a project at Miami Ad School – San Francisco, USA.

The shades comes with a small solar panel on each of its side arm, and that’s apparently enough to charge an iPhone 5 when the sun goes down, CNET said in its report.
