Yesterday, we saw the images of the Android powered Nokia D1C smartphone, Now the images of yet another Nokia smartphone with metal body have surfaced online.
The images show a phone with a metal casing suggesting that the smartphone would have all-metal unibody design and have curved antenna lines embedded at top and bottom edges. At the back panel, there are two circular slots, one is for camera and other would be of fingerprint scanner or LED flash or secondary camera (Dual camera setup). On the sides there are power/lock and volume rocker slots. To strengthen confirmation, a Nokia logo is clearly visible at the back.
Last month, we had reported that Nokia is working on a high-end Android smartphone with metal body, dubbed as Nokia P1. So these latest images could be of Nokia P1 smartphone.
According to reports, the Nokia P1 has a metal body and will have two variants, one with 5.2 inch display and another with 5.5 inch display. Both the Nokia P1 variants will sport QHD (2560 x 1440 pixel) AMOLED displays and will run on Android 7.0. Nougat with Nokia’s Z Launcher on top of it. Nokia PI could be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Snapdragon 821 SoC, which will be clubbed with 4GB of RAM at least. The smartphone is also expected to come with a powerful rear camera and will use graphene camera sensors for low light photography. Further as per report, the Nokia P1 will have IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
Interestingly, earlier in August, two alleged Nokia phones were spotted online with similar specs as the purported Nokia P1 models. To read about the previous spotted phones click here.
If latest reports are to be believed then Nokia is expected to unveil its first-ever Android smartphones during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.
