Idea launches ID 920 Android phone with free data and video

Priced at Rs 4,950 the Idea ID 920 comes with a 3 month Data and Idea TV combo free for users.

Idea Cellular, mobile service provider, has announced the launch of a new Smartphone the Idea ID 920 for the customer’s across the country. The Idea ID 920 is priced at Rs 4,950 and comes bundled with a free 3 month data and Idea TV access.

Under this offer prepaid customers will get 1.6GB of data per month for 3 months or unlimited data on 2G for 3 months depending on the availability in the circle. Also the subscribers will be getting Idea TV Rs 150 pack free of charge for 3 months

For Postpaid subscribers there will be 1GB 3G data per bill cycle for 90 days or Unlimited 2G data per bill cycle for 90 days. One bill cycle is of 30 days. And they will also be getting Idea TV Rs 150 pack free of charge for 3 months.

The Idea ID 920 comes with a 3.5 inch capacitive touch display with a 320 x 480 pixel resolution. The display has been supplemented with the use of a that turns off the display when the device is kept against the ear. The Idea ID 920 is powered with a single core running at 1GHz coupled with 256 of RAM and 100 MB of application storage. Also there is a 2 of storage made available through a bundled memory card.

The Idea ID 920 is powered with the older Google Android Gingerbread operating system.

The Idea ID 920 sports an 2 rear camera but no front camera so there would not be any option to make video calls using this device.

The 3G data offer is available on a one time rental or recharge of Rs 260 available in AP, Gujarat, HP, Haryana, J&K, Kerala, Maharashtra, MP, UP west and east circles. While the unlimited 2G data offer is available against one time rental or recharge of Rs 199 available in North East and Assam, Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka, Kolkata, West Bengal, Mumbai, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal
