Chennai based iBerry India has announced the prebooking of its first ever performance oriented iBerry Auxus Core series tablet. The iBerry Auxus Core tablets are available in Core X2 and Core X4 variants. The Core X2 is a dual core processor tab, running at a speedy 1.6 GHz; while the core X4 is a quad core tablet based on Samsung’s Exynos 4412 processor running at 1.6 GHz as well. Both tablets are available on prebooking through the iBerry India web store as well as on Ebay.in where interested buyers can book their tablet by paying a full upfront price or opting for easy monthly installments.
The Auxus CoreX4 3G comes with a quad core processor and gets a 9.7 inch IPS panel display with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. The tablet has a Samsung Exynos 4412 1.6 GHz quad core processor coupled with 2 GB RAM (which is the same as in the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1).
This Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet has an inbuilt 3G SIM slot, GPS, and 16 GB inbuilt memory, and is available at a best buy price of Rs 15,990. It is not the cheapest but one of the most generously equipped budget tablets. On the camera front it has a 2 megapixel lens at the back and a VGA camera in the front. It has a massive 7200 mAh battery.
The Auxus CoreX2 3G comes with a 1.6 GHz dual core processor from Rockchip coupled with 1 GB RAM and a 7 inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. It runs on Android Jellybean 4.1 and is priced at Rs 10,990 which makes it one of the cheapest 3G tablets as compared to other devices available in the market with similar specifications and hardware.
The devices will get mini USB on the go port support that will allow them to connect pen drives and other peripherals to the tablet without any problem. Along with that the tablets also feature HDMI output, which is capable of handling full high definition 1080p video playback on bigger screen devices.
This device will be available countrywide. The devices will be available through the online retail network and at their retail sale partners across various cities in India, as well as at Ebay India. The company is offering one year of doorstep warranty for devices, which will be handled by the company’s service network across the country.
