Huawei will be launching Huawei Y9 (2019) in India on January 10. The Huawei Y9 (2019) was initially to launch in the country on January 7th but the event was cancelled. Now the company has sent the invite to the media with details of the event.
The Huawei launch event is scheduled to take place in New Delhi at 10:30 AM IST. The invite says that the smartphone will be positioned as an entry-level flagship.
The Huawei Y9 (2019) has already been revealed to launch in India as an Amazon exclusive. The e-commerce giant has been teasing about the upcoming launch for a while now. The Amazon teaser page comes with “Coming Soon” tagline and a “Notify Me” option as well. One can register to get an email from Amazon when the phone is available for purchase. The smartphone will be available in Midnight Black, Blue Swarovski and Aurora Purple colours.
To recall, the major highlight of the Huawei Y9 2019 are the four cameras with two being selfie shooter and two being the rear camera. Starting with the latter, it comes with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, you get a combination of 16-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel secondary sensors.
The device features a 6.5-inch Full HD+2.5D curved glass display with 2340 × 1080 pixels Resolution with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 with 91 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 Processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. The Huawei Y9 (2019)comes in two variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. Both the variants are expandable up to 400GB with microSD. The phone runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2 and is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery.
