Huawei has unveiled its new affordable smartphone, named as Huawei Y5 2017. The smartphone is now listed on Huawei’s official website. As of now, there is no information on its price and availability. The smartphone comes in five different colours- Gold, Pink, Blue, White and Grey.
As per website listing, the Huawei Y5 2017 features a 5-inch HD display with aresolution of 720×1280 pixel. It is powered by a MT6737T Quad-core CPU (4x 1.4GHz Cortex-A53) processor, along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top of it.
On the camera front, the Huawei Y5 2017 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone gets it strength from a high-density polymer 3000mAh battery, which claims to last 1.5 days on a single charge. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS/Glonass, a microUSB port, Proximity sensor, Digital Compass and Ambient light sensor. The handset measures 143.8mm x 72mm x 8.35mm.
