Huawei to launch three new ICS phones by Diwali

These phones include Huawei Ascend G330, Ascend G600 and Ascend Y201 Pro.

Huawei has unveiled three new phones during the ongoing IFA event in Berlin, Germany. These phones include Huawei Ascend G330, Ascend G600 and Ascend Y201 Pro.

The three phones run on 4.0 ICS and will also come with a brand new user interface, that Huawei calls ‘Emotion’, which the company claims, will play a critical role in cementing the Huawei smartphone portfolio.

As per Huawei, the devices will hit the market by October this year so it can safely assumed that the handsets may hit the Indian market by this year Diwali.

While the Y201 will be an entry level device, G series (G330 and G600) will be the mid-level smartphones priced between Rs 12,000 to Rs 18,000.

Apart from these three, Huawei had already lined up its Ascend P1S and Ascend D Quad for launch in India during this Diwali, which we have reported earlier.

Ascend G330 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) and has a 4-inch WVGA with 480×800 touchscreen. It also has 512 RAM, 1 GHz dual-core processor, 5 megapixel camera, a 1500 battery and 4 of internal storage.

The Ascend G600 runs Android 4.0 ICS. It features a 4.5 inch IPS screen and a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. It has 1930mAh battery, 4 GB of internal storage expandable to 32GB and and DLNA technology built-in.

Ascend Y201 Pro has 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB on-board memory, 3.5 inch display with HVGA resolution, 1400mAh battery, and 3.2MP camera.
