Huawei P9 Lite goes official in Germany

Huawei P9 Lite has a 5.2-inch full HD 1080p display, a 1.7 GHz octa-core Kirin 650 processor and 3GB RAM.

After so many leaks, now finally Huawei P9 Lite has finally gone official in Germany and has been launched for EUR 299 (approximately Rs 22,500), and will go on sale for purchase in May. Earlier, Huawei P9 Lite was earlier spotted by a Russian website and then on an European retailer’s website. Yesterday only, the device was spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency TENAA. It will be available in Black and Gold colour variants.

Huawei P9 Lite has a 5.2-inch full HD 1080p display, a 1.7 GHz octa-core Kirin 650 processor and 3GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage, an expandable storage slot of 128GB, a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, an 8 megapixel front facing camera and a 3000 mAh battery. Huawei P9 Lite has a fingerprint sensor on its back panel.

The dual SIM phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Huawei’s Emotion UI installed on top of it. Connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a micro USB port. The dimensions of the phone are 146.8 x 72.6 x 7.5 mm and it weighs 143 grams.

Earlier this month Huawei launched P9 and P9 Plus in London. To recall, The Huawei P9 features a 5.2-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core Kirin 955 processor. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Huawei Emotion UI and is packed with a 3000 mAh battery. It has a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Huawei P9 flaunts a 12-megapixel dual rear camera with Leica SUMMARIT lenses, dual-tone LED flash, Laser autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, the device has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G/LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and USB type C. The P9 measures 145 x 70.9 x 6.95mm and weighs 144 grams

On the other hand, Huawei P9 Plus features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED Press Touch 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core Kirin 955 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. The P9 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Huawei Emotion UI. It is packed with a 3400 mAh battery that supports Fast Charging technology. It has a fingerprint scanner as well.

Huawei P9 Plus comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128 GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone boasts dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with Leica SUMMARIT lenses, dual-tone LED flash, Laser autofocus and f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G/LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS/A-GPS, NFC and USB Type C. The phone dimensions are 152.2 × 75.31 × 6.98mm and weighs 162 grams.
