Huawei is reportedly working on the next-generation of its flagship P-series with Huawei P40. Now, new information has been revealed about the upcoming smartphone. Furthermore, a new leak reveals that Huawei might also introduce P40 Lite.
Talking about Huawei P40, a tipster known as Yash Raj Chaudhary reveals that the smartphone will be backed by a 6.5-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 98 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The display is known as Waterfall display, which could be similar to what we have seen in some Samsung and Huawei smartphones in the past. The Huawei P40 will be powered by the latest Kirin 990 5G Chipset and it will run on EMUI 10.
Furthermore, the tipster reveals that the smartphone will be loaded with a penta-camera setup. It will come with a combination of 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor with OIS support, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 12-megapixel periscope lens, a macro sensor and a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor.
The tipster further reveals that the smartphone will come with dual selfie camera with punch-hole design. It will come with a primary sensor along with a Wide-Angle lens. The Huawei P40 will come loaded with a new graphene-based battery with a capacity of 5500mAh. The company might also introduce 50W flash charge, which the tipster claims can fully charge the smartphone in 45 minutes.
Meanwhile, a tipster known as Rodent has revealed that Huawei will launch P40 Lite as well. The tipster claims that the Huawei P40 Lite will be a rebranded version of the Huawei Nova 6SE. To recall, the company recently introduced Nova 6 SE in China.
Huawei Nova 6 SE sports a 6.4-inches display with an FHD+ (2340×1080 pixels) Resolution and a single punch-hole at the top-left corner of the display. The phone is powered by Hisilicon Kirin 810 chipset with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU.
The phone is equipped with quad rear cameras with a combination of a 48-megapixel sensor with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with f/2.4 Aperture and two 2-megapixel depth and macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The phone features a front camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is backed up by a 4200mAh battery with support for 40W super-fast charging. It runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10.0.1.
