Huawei is reportedly working to introduce Apple iPhone X-like notch on its latest P20 flagship series as after P20, P20 Lite latest leak reveals that the smartphone will bear an iPhone X-like notch.
The leaked image was shared by Evan Blass, a well-known tipster, which reveals that the upcoming smartphone will feature a bezel-less display with minimal top and side bezels. The image shows that there is smaller bottom bezel at the base, while at the top, there is a notch that houses camera and sensors. The back of the phone shows dual rear cameras situated at the top-left position, while there is a fingerprint sensor at the top-centre of the back panel. Interestingly, it seems that the smartphone will bear a glass design at the back. The leaked image is in line with the previous leak that suggested similar design language.
Coming to key specifications of Huawei P20 Lite, Blass reveals that the smartphone features a 5.6-inch display with a screen Resolution of 2250 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core Processor clocked at 2.38GHz. The smartphone will be backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, the Huawei P20 Lite will feature Leica co-developed dual rear cameras with a combination of two 16-megapixel sensors, which can be used for hybrid zoom capabilities. The phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 running atop and it will be backed by a 3520mAh battery.
Popular leakster Roland Quandt revealed recently that Emily, Charlotte and Anne are the codenames of Huawei P20, P20 Plus and P20 Lite smartphones respectively.The brand is all set to launch the smartphones at an event on March 27 in Paris.
Apart from Huawei P20 Plus and Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Lite, the company is also working on P20 Pro smartphone that will feature triple-camera setup along with iPhone X-like notch. Coming to the specifications, the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus are said to be powered by the latest Kirin 970 processors, similar to what we have seen in the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. Both the smartphones could come 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
The Huawei P20 Pro will run on a more powerful Kirin 975 processor, which gives a 15 percent increased performance as compared to Kirin 970 chipset. The smartphone is said to feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and there will another variant that will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
