Huawei has announced that it will lend a helping hand to Kerala flood victims by providing free-of-cost repair servicing to its smartphones that damaged due to the waterlogging.
The company has claimed that it has activated the technical team across all operational authorised and exclusive service centres in Kerala to ensure that there is the availability of repair services in every part of the city. Customers with damaged products can contact on toll-free number 1800-209-6555 avail the repair service for free. The company reveals that it will continue to offer free repair services till August 3, 2018, and it will be applicable for all Huawei customers in Kerala.
“We have deployed our customer service team in full action to support customers affected by Kerala floods. We will be providing free of cost service to Huawei smartphones damaged due to water logging. With support pouring in from everywhere, we are confident that Kerala will soon recover from this disaster,” said, Allen Wang, Director, Product Centre, Huawei Consumer Business Group, India.
Huawei is not the only company that is offering a free repair to water damaged smartphones in flood-hit Kerala. We earlier reported that Xiaomi will repair all its smartphones in Kerala free of cost. Manu Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India, said to The Mobile Indian, ” We will repair all the water damaged Xiaomi Smartphones in Kerala free of cost. A formal announcement will be made in a couple of days.” Apart from this, companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and different telecom operators like Reliance Jio, Vodafone, Idea Cellular and Airtel have lent a helping hand to Kerala flood victims.
