Huawei is all set to launch Huawei Mate 10 series of smartphones at an event in Germany on October 16. The smartphones are said to feature the recently launched Kirin 970 SoC and display offering high screen-to-body ratio. Now, the popular tipster Evan Blass has revealed the specifications of these smartphones via his official twitter handle.
As per an earlier report, the Huawei Mate 10 is internally codenamed as Marcel while the Mate 10 Pro is codenamed as Blanc. Now as per the leakster, there is a device in the Mate 10 series which is codenamed as Alps. This device is expected to be the Mate 10 Lite which has earlier leaked along with the flagship Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro smartphones.
As per the report of Venture Beat, the Mate 10 Pro codenamed as Blanc will sport a 5.99-inch QHD display with 1440 x 2880 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by Kirin 970 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM while internal memory options include 64GB and 128GB. The Mate 10 Pro will boast a dual rear camera setup comprising of 12megapixel and 20megapixel sensors co-developed with Leica. It will reportedly run on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and will be backed up by a 4,000mAh battery. Some other features it offers include IP68 water and dust certification and an LTE Cat. 16 modem.
Now revealing the specifications of Huawei Alps, the report says that it will feature a 5.88-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Unlike Blanc’s 18:9, Alps will be offering an aspect ratio of 16:9. It will feature 4GB RAM, 8.23mm thick body and a 4000mAh battery.
