Huawei has announced the list of smartphones from both Huawei and Honor that will get the recently-launched Turbo GPU technology. To recall, the brand introduced the latest feature with its Honor Play.
The company has revealed that its latest Huawei Mate 10 series will be the first to receive the latest update that brings GPU Turbo technology. Next in the line is Honor V10. Both the smartphones will receive by the end of this month.
In July, Huawei P20 series, Mate RS Porsche Design, Nova 2s, Honor 10 and MediaPad M5 will receive the GPU Turbo update. In August, Nova 3e, Enjoy 8 Plus, Enjoy 7S. Maimang 6, Honor 9 Lite and Honor Play 7X will get the latest update.
In September and October, Mate 9 series along with P10 series, Honor 9 and Honor V9 will receive the Turbo GPU technology. Lastly, in November, rest of the Huawei smartphones will get the latest feature.
To recall, the new technology was introduced with the latest Honor Play smartphone. Huawei’s GPU Turbo Graphics which is made to enhance graphics performance and reduce the power consumed at the same time. The company claims that during its initial testing, the GPU Turbo technology was able to up the graphics efficiency by 60 percent alongside 30 percent drop in power consumption.
The Play also integrates 4D gaming which is made possible with help of real-time scene detection that vibrates the device accordingly for various possibilities. Adding a little more realistic experience is the 7.1-channel Histen sound technology which generates 3D sound effects while a game is being played.
