HTC U-series smartphone to sport bezel-less display, reveals new teaser

The smartphone could sport a bezel-less display and if earlier reports are believed to be true, then it will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio.

HTC is all set to announce new products on November 2. The company is reported to launch HTC U11 Plus and U11 Life during the launch and the brand has already started teasing about the upcoming U-series smartphone.

According to the latest teaser image, the smartphone could sport a bezel-less display and if earlier reports are believed to be true, then it will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio. The tweet reads, “You’ll believe it all on 11.02.2017”. The image also shows that the home button is missing on the new U series smartphone. This could mean that the fingerprint sensor has been shifted on the back panel.

Recollecting some key specifications, the HTC U11 Plus will sport a 6-inch Quad display with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels coupled with 5 protection. The phone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 along with 6GB of and 128GB of internal storage. There could be another variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

On the camera front, the listing reveals that the phone will sport a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, while for the front, there would be an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The U11 Plus will run on 8.0 Oreo and it will be juiced up by a 3930mAH battery with Quick Charge 3.0. The phone is further rumored to come equipped with Sense, Boom Sound, and certification.

The HTC U11 Life will feature a 5-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage, which could be expandable via micro card slot.

The phone is reported to sport a 16-megapixel rear and front-facing cameras. The phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and users will get pure Android experience on this one. The device will be juiced up by a 2600mAh battery and it will be certified, making it water and dust resistant.
